The CFD Lab (http://aero.uc3m.es/cfd.html) invites applications to one Postdoctoral position in the fi eld of cardiovascular fluid dynamics, to work on a collaborative project
with the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón and the University of California San Diego.
Candidate pro le:
A PhD in Engineering and some experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics is required. Ideal candidates will have a strong research record in cardiovascular fluid mechanics and/or numerical methods, and be motivated to lead a research eff ort that involves developing and implementing new algorithms and performing and analysing massively-parallel numerical simulations.
Conditions:
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out research in a multidisciplinary environment, present the results in international conferences, publish scholarly papers, and take on a mentorship role for undergraduate and graduate students.
The position is available immediately, and for the duration of the project (2.5 years). The annual gross salary will be in the range 28 – 32k euros, depending on the candidate experience. Benefi ts include health insurance.
