CompBioMed is a European Center of Excellence in Computational Biomedicine financed by the European Union‘s Horizon 2020 to advance the role of computationally based modeling and simulation within biomedicine and provide access to expertise and services. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 675451 (phase 1) and grant agreement No. 823712 (phase 2).
CompBioMed services are delivered free of charge to organisations based within the European Union or in the Horizon 2020 Associated Countries. CompBioMed is not a commercial service provider so there is not a commercial relationship between your organisation and the CompBioMed project partners, and commercial or civil rules between provider and customer are therefore not applicable. Your access to and use of the services is conditioned on your acceptance and compliance with these Terms. No guarantee is given that the service will be carried out, but CompBioMed commits to reply to all requests.
If you access any of the services provided by the project, you agree to give us feedback on the quality of the service and to facilitate contact with your management to get feedback on the value of the service provided. As a user of the CompBioMed services, you grant us permission to list your name, the name of the code, and your institution in confidential deliverables as well as to list the name of the code in public documents without any reference to its performance or your request. You also grant CompBioMed permission to publish anonymous statistical information on the use of any of the offered services and other equivalent metrics that measure the results and impact of the service.
CompBioMed undertakes that all data collected and managed is handled in a safe and secure manner when exploiting our services, as described in the project Data Security Policy and Data Privacy Policy.
Any publication originated or supported with any of the CompBioMed services must include the following acknowledgment of the contribution received from the project and from the European Commission: “We gratefully acknowledge the support of the CompBioMed CoE which has under grant agreement No 675451 (phase 1) and grant agreement No. 823712 (phase 2), and has partially contributed to this work.” NO WARRANTY. THE COMPBIOMED SERVICES ARE MADE AVAILABLE “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. USERS OF THE COMPBIOMED SERVICES SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ANY WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT OF ANY THIRD PARTY OR ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF ANY PROPOSAL OR SPECIFICATION.
